Pennies for Patients Fundraiser

St. Barnabas Charities is offering a Bake SaleHoagie Sale and CleanTown Gift Card Sale to benefit its Pennies for Patients campaign. An Election Day Bake Sale will be held on Tuesday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside of the polling booth at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. Hoagies ordered through the Pennies for Patients Hoagie Sale will be available for pick-up on the St. Barnabas Health System campuses in Gibsonia and Valencia on May 3. Hoagie varieties include Italian, Turkey and Dagwood and are $7 for a seven inch sub and $9.75 for a 14 inch sub. Orders forms are due to Dianne Whetsell by April 26.

For a limited time only Pennies for Patients is also offering CleanTown gift cards for only $25. The gift cards never expire and are good anytime for three basic exterior car washes. CleanTown is located on Route 8 in Hampton Township.

Proceeds from the three fundraisers will benefit the Pennies for Patients campaign, which is an effort to collect more than 3 million pennies to support the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.  In 2011 alone, the Free Care Fund provided more than $5.2 million worth of care to poor and low-income patients at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas.
