English to Host Series of Meetings on Issues Facing Small Businesses

Rep. Hal English (R-Allegheny) is hosting a series of meetings each Friday morning in January from 7-9:30 am focusing on issues facing small businesses in the region.  He is inviting fellow members of the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber and business owners located along the State Route 8 corridor in Shaler, Hampton and Richland townships.
"There are so many challenges that our small business owner's face on a daily basis, and this is an opportunity to improve the lines of communication so that ideas and information can be exchanged," said English.
English said he wants input from business owners on issues affecting small business such as minimum wage increases, the Affordable Care Act rollout, and small employer tax levels.
The meetings will be held at Monte Cello's restaurant in the Hampton Plaza with a casual one-on-one format with the Representative.
