UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory No Longer in Effect for Thursday

National Weather Service had forecast freezing rain, sleet and snow for Thursday morning.

UPDATE: The winter weather advisory issued for Thursday has been lifted.

EARLIER STORY: The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m Thursday that calls for a mix of light freezing rain, sleet and snow.

A coating of up to one-tenth of an inch of freezing rain could accumulate, the weather service stated on its website.

"A winter weather advisory means that snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties," the National Weather Service said. "Use caution while driving and report snow and ice accumulation to use the National Weather Service by calling toll free 1-877-633-6772."
