What Are You Hearing From Friends, Relatives in Storm-Ravaged Areas?

Patch would like to hear your stories and see your photos from Hurricane Sandy.

As Pine-Richland recovers from the relatively mild effects of Hurricane Sandy, eastern coastal communities are picking up the pieces of the lives and homes they knew.

Do you have friends, relatives, co-workers in those storm-damaged areas?
What are you hearing from them? Do you have anecdotes or photos to share?

Please tell us in the comments and upload images by clicking on the "Upload photos and videos" box to the right.

From Pine-Richland Patch's Facebook page: Gena Peluso Finley wrote: Nephew in Hoboken, without power and water very high. Relatives that live in Ventnor City, N.J., She has had no internet. Electricity out as well (they have the generator helping to keep limited light for them). They are all doing alright. Lower level flooded to the point where the basement refrigerator (not to mention furniture) was floating and popping the light bulbs on the basement ceiling. Water is just beginning to recede after high tide.
