Snow Arrives on Eve of April Fools' Day

Chance of snow in forecast for next few days.

As if Mother Nature has an April Fools' Day sense of humor, snow covered the Pine-Richland community on this late March morning and more is in the forecast.

Despite signs of spring -- daffodils blooming and other spring flowers pushing through the soil -- the weather is looking like winter.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of rain Thursday, mainly after 5 p.m. Cloudy skies are expected during the day with a high near 44. A chance of rain and snow before midnight is predicted, then snow is likely, according to the National Weather Service.
