Short-Term Lane Closures on Route 19 Start Monday

Closures affect Route 19 in Marshall Township as crews install Intelligent Transportation System facilities in the area under the I-79 overpass.

Traveling Route 19 could be slow going this week as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation closes lanes in Marshall Township starting Monday.

The short-term closures will occur in the area under the I-79 overpass as crews install Intelligent Transportation System facilities, according to a news release from PennDOT District 11.

"Lane and shoulder closures will occur as needed on Route 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 21. No restrictions will occur on I-79 at this time," the release stated.
