PennDOT: Cleaning, Washing, Litter Removal Planned in the Pine-Richland Areas

Crews will begin the work on Monday, weather permitting

PennDOT crews will be performing maintenance work in the Pine and Richland areas this week. Work will occur Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12, weather permitting.

Here's a look at where crews will be working:

  • Litter and debris removal on Interstate 79 from the Crafton exit to Butler County. Also on Route 28 from the Highland Park Bridge to Butler County.
  • Cleaning inlets and pipes on Sample Road in Hampton from Mt. Royal Boulevard to Peebles Road.
  • Washout repairs on Gibsonia Road in Pine from Pearce Mill Road to Hardt Road. 

Lane closures and restrictions should be expected in work areas. To report roadway concerns on state routes and interstates call 1-800-FIX-ROAD.
