Pearce Mill Road Reopens Saturday in Pine Township

The north-south road that connects Route 910 to the Red Belt has been closed since July.

After months of repairs and a detour, reopens to traffic on Saturday afternoon, PennDOT District 11 announced today.

The road connects Route 910 to the Red Belt/Warrendale Road. About 2,740 vehicles use this area of Pearce Mill Road on an average day, PennDOT said.

The $2.4 million project included repairing and reinforcing the slope and reconstructing the road in the area of the slide between Route 910 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike overpass.

The contractor performing the work is Joseph B. Fay Co. of Russellton.

Graham connects Pearce Mill to the Red Belt/Warrendale Road. Old State Road connects Route 910 to the Red Belt/Bakerstown Road.
