Lane on Route 910 at Dickey Road Reopens After 'Heaving' During Heavy Rain

PennDOT spokesman says road is safe, but will need patching repairs in future.

The eastbound lane of Route 910 at Dickey Road reopened this week after being closed temporarily

PennDOT spokesman James B. Struzzi II explained in an email that "the road heaved during flooding and was closed.

"Since then, the road surface subsided and is now in usable condition. Additional patching repairs to address the damage will need to occur in the future, but the roadway is safe and we wanted to get it reopened for the traveling public."

The eastbound lane of Route 910 was cordoned off with orange and white PennDOT barrels in a section across from .

Stop signs were placed at either end of the closed section so eastbound and westbound vehicles alternated using the single lane that was open.
