Citizens Bank Wins Three Gold Stevie Awards during the 2014 Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service

PHILADELPHIA – RBS Citizens has received three Gold Stevie® Awards recognizing the quality of its Philadelphia-based commercial banking operation and the quality of its research into M&A topics of interest to middle market companies. The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are among the world’s top awards recognizing excellence in sales and customer service.

Daniel K. Fitzpatrick, President of Citizens Bank and RBS Citizens for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, received the Gold Stevie award in the category for Sales Director of the Year. RBS Citizens’ Eastern Pennsylvania Commercial Banking Team received the Gold Stevie award in the category of field sales team of the year. RBS Citizens also received a Gold Stevie award for its annual Middle Market M&A Outlook, an annual survey providing the business community, policymakers and the news media with insights into the M&A climate for middle market companies.

More than 260 executives around the world participated in the judging process for the 2014 awards, to determine the Finalists and then the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements. The 2014 Stevie Awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 21 in Las Vegas. More than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 36 percent over 2013.
