Petco—the national retailer that sells nearly everything of which you can think for your pet—plans a grand opening for its new Northtowne Square store in Richland Township.

Grand-opening festivities are planned for Friday, Jan. 25, through Sunday, Jan. 27. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 8:55 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.

As one of its promotions the pet supplies store will give $10 gift cards to the first 100 Pals Rewards customers during the grand opening festivities.

In advance of the grand-opening festivities, the store will open for business on Monday, Jan. 21.

Northtowne Square is located at the corner of Route 910 (Gibsonia Road) and Route 8 (William Flynn Highway) in Gibsonia.

In addition to a wide array of pet supplies, the Gibsonia store will feature grooming services, dog training and an aquatics department.

Petco is privately held with more than 1,150 stores nationwide, including stores in the North Hills at 4801 McKnight Road and in Cranberry Township at 20111 Route 19.

It partners with local shelters and rescues to hold adoption events at its stores.
