North Park Lounge Owner to Open New Restaurant in Ross Township

The restaurant will be the fifth in the North Hills area for Mark Baranowski.

Pine Township restaurateur Mark Baranowski is getting ready to open his fifth eatery.

This one will be in Ross Township at the former Sunseri’s restaurant at 3385 Babcock Boulevard; it was once the site of

Baranowski also owns the North Park Lounge on Babcock Boulevard in McCandless,  in Cranberry, the Cabana Bar in Wexford, and , which opened in February at the Pine Tree Shoppes in Wexford.

He purchased the property about a month ago and is going to create a head-to-head dining competition with the popular  across the street. 

“He hopes to open the new restaurant in January,” said Amy Wisnewski, manager of the North Park Lounge in McCandless. “He needs to do some renovations and things are still very much in the planning stages, but he is planning to have live music there.”

If Baranowski has a name for his newest restaurant, he has yet to share it publicly. 

“I think the menu will be similar to that of the North Park Lounge,” said Wisnewski. “But things change everyday, particularly in this business, so you never know.”
