Jersey Mike's Sub Shop Coming to McKnight Road

First a donut shop, then a florist shop, now the old A-frame building at 7390 McKnight Road in  will be a sub shop.

Jersey Mike's hopes to open in 6-9 months after renovations are completed. Jersey Mike's Subs is headquartered in Manasquan, N.J. The Jersey Mike's franchise has more than 500 stores across the United States.

Ross commissioners this week unanimously approved plans to replace the roof, facade and windows of the McKnight Road shop, which sits on a 13,678-square- foot lot between the to the north and the salon and Cricket phone store to the south.

There are two other local Jersey Mike's shops, one in Wexford at 10640 Perry Highway, and another in  at 20300 Route 19.
