Giant Eagle Store in Gibsonia Reopens after Temporary Closing

Electronic cash register issues close store from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Giant Eagle in Gibsonia is back in business after closing for seven hours Saturday.

An electronic cash register issue prompted the closing from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., said Giant Eagle spokesman Dan Donovan.

Customers trying to shop at the popular grocery store Saturday were turned away at the door and told the store's computer system was down.
