Mooking’s passion for international cuisine landed him his own show on the Cooking Channel called Everyday Exotic, which was soon followed by a cookbook in 2011. The book soon gained international fame and won the prestigious Best First Cookbook award within Canada for The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

With his ongoing success with Everyday Exotic, the Food Network asked Mooking to co-host Heat Seekers with Aaron Sanchez in 2011. The Cooking Channel later approached him to co-own and co-create his own show called Man Fire Food that debuted this fall.

His expertise in global-inspired recipes has also gained Mooking a continual spot as a culinary expert on the Marilyn Denis Show and Iron Chef. He has also appeared on the sets of the Today show, Good Morning America, and Top Chef Canada as well as graced the pages of The New York Times, Wallpaper Magazine and Toronto Life.
