A 'Taste of Pine' to Showcase Delicious Dishes, Wine Tasting

The third annual event benefits the Friends of Pine Community Parks.

Even if you tried really hard, it would be tough to get to 13 places in three hours to taste foods, wines, coffees and desserts ... and not get a speeding ticket.

The third annual Taste of Pine enables you to taste a bit of this and sip a bit of that all in one place——from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27.

"It's a fun evening to try different restaurants in the township. Each (one) is bringing its specialities," said John Gill, chairman of Friends of Pine Community Parks. The nonprofit is hosting the event to raise money for the park and community center.
