Weather Forecast Leads Pine to Change Community Day Location

With weather forecasters predicting showers and thunderstorms for Saturday, Pine has switched its Community Day location from Community Park to the Pine Community Center. 

Both the children’s booths and inflatables will be set up in the building’s gym, according to Joni Patsko, Pine’s director of parks and recreations.

Other outside events are still planned, but will be weather dependant, she said.

For those wondering about the fireworks show from Pyrotechnico, fear not.

Patsko said the fireworks are still planned for 9:30 p.m. Saturday. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date for the fireworks is set for 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 21.
