Viewfinder: Pine-Richland Students Take Stage at Hard Rock Cafe

Musicians study at the Rock School Pittsburgh.

Several Pine-Richland students took to the stage recently at the Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square to showcase their talent.

They had studied at the Rock School Pittsburgh, which brings bands together through its eight-week program of lessons and rehearsals.

"Bands are formed based on age, skill level and musical interests," according to the school's website. "The groups choose the songs that they will perform and with weekly coaching from their instructor, they will be ready to rock out in time for the final show. Each band rehearses on a weekly basis leading up to the show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square."
