Jackie Evancho's PBS Special Premieres Saturday Across U.S.

In a lavish theater known for decades of performances by music legends,

That "Great Performances" special filmed at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles begins airing Saturday on PBS stations across the U.S.

In the Pittsburgh area, it will air at 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. Sunday on WQED, and on other dates throughout August.

This is Jackie's second PBS special. A year ago, her "Great Performances Dream With Me in Concert" was broadcast to wide acclaim. It was filmed at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Florida.

This weekend's airing of the latest special coincides with the announcement that Jackie's new album,
