Extras Needed For Channing Tatum Movie Filming in Pittsburgh

The 'Sexiest Man Alive' (and Steelers fan) is shooting scenes for 'Foxcatcher.'

Here's your chance to appear on the big screen with People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive," Channing Tatum.

Oh, and Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo will be there too.

The Fair Hill Project is looking for extras to shoot a scene on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Petersen Event Center in Oakland.

Sorry ladies, only men 18 years of age and older are needed.

According to the Pittsburgh Film Office, pay is $60 to $100, depending on the number of hours worked. Meals will be provided. Extras should plan on working from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Those interested and available should email name, age and phone number to wrestlingextras@gmail.com.

While in town, Tatum led a Terrible Towel wave at Heinz Field Sunday before the Steelers-Chargers game. If you took pictures at the game, be sure to upload them to the photo box!

Tatum Fever also gripped the Cranberry area in November while the Magic Mike star was in nearby Connoquenessing to shoot scenes for the upcoming film.

Joanie Baker, owner of TJ’s Hideaway off Route 68 in Evans City, said she even had to take the restaurant's phone off the hook one night after a rumor circulated that Tatum was eating dinner there.

He wasn’t—but that didn’t stop a gaggle of about 40 young girls from showing up at the restaurant in the hopes of finding their favorite movie star.

Based on a true story, Foxcatcher is about John du Pont (Carell), a chemical fortune heir who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and went to prison for killing David Schultz (Ruffalo), a 1984 gold medal winning wrestler.

Have you spotted Tatum yet while he's been filming in the area? Better yet, did you get a photo with him? We want to see it!
