Lipman Harp Duo Concert

Internationally acclaimed Lipman Harp Duo will present a concert in Kresge Recital Hall in the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. This concert is being presented by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Harp Society and is being co-sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University.
The Lipman Duo’s program will include works by Bach, Grandjany, Grieg, Fauré, Damase, Thomas, Debussy,
Saint Saëns, Andres, and Bizet.

The Lipman Harp Duo is comprised of Sebastien Lipman, former Principal Harpist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and his wife, Sayo, a former prizewinner of the Japan International Harp Competition. Together they have delighted audiences all over the world with an extensive repertoire of original pieces, as well as harp transcriptions of well-known and well-loved works. (See more complete bio below.)

The concert is open to the public. A reception will immediately follow in the Recital Hall foyer, to which the public is cordially invited.
