International Christmas Tree Event

Assumption School in Bellevue will host its 2nd annual International Christmas Tree event. Decorated Christmas trees representing nine countries will be on display, each with special ornaments and other items highlighting that nation’s culture. A cookie walk bake sale will also be held in the school. Homemade cookies will be available for $2.50 per half-dozen, with handmade candies and toffees also available for purchase. The school’s newly formed Drama Club will give its first performance at 5:15 p.m., a special version of The Night Before Christmas. An art sale, with pictures drawn and decorated by the first and second grade students, will benefit a Honduran mission.
