2012 Pine-Richland Secondary Art Show

Thousands of pieces of art go on display Thursday from young artists in the , some of whom are auctioning their work to raise money for Save the Children.

The 2012 Pine-Richland Secondary Art Show will be held from Thursday through Saturday at , 100 Logan Road, Gibsonia.

The show is open from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

The program kicks off at 6 p.m. Thursday with a middle school band concert.   
 

The art show continues Friday with a special exhibit titled "How to Save a Life" that features artwork produced by  for this special auction.

All proceeds will go directly to Save the Children, a non-profit organization that focuses on aiding, providing relief to, and supporting children and their families in the United States and overseas.

During Friday's program, the PRHS Youth Orchestra and the PRHS Dance Team will perform, and members of the PRHS Forensics team will read scripts related to the theme of saving a child's life.

Refreshments will be served.
