Don't Forget—Jackie Evancho Performs on 'Dancing With the Stars' Tonight

The ABC show airs at 8 p.m.

Jackie Evancho performs tonight as a special musical guest on ABC's Dancing With the Stars for classical week.

The 8 p.m. show opens with violinist Joshua Bell playing "Vivaldi's Summer" accompanied by the DWTS pro troupe, according to wetpaint.com

Jackie, the 12-year-old soprano prodigy from Richland Township, and Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo will sing, accompanying dance performances throughout the evening, wetpaint.com reports.

Jackie will sing "Dark Waltz" during a pro dance performance with Tristan MacManus and Karina Smirnoff, states wetpaint.com

"Very excited to be singing on DWTS for classical week," Jackie tweeted on Wednesday. "Hope to see Katherine again. She's so wonderful."

She was referring to fellow classical crossover artist Katherine Jenkins, who teamed up with dancer Mark Ballas to vie for the Mirrorball Trophy on DWTS.

Looking forward to the show tonight! Jackie sang a duet of "Silent Night" with Katherine Jenkins in December 2010 for NBC's "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdjl5b6tlns Alex Moss, Columbia, SC

Thanks, Sempi! I remember that. I was in New York then for Patch training and heard them sing. Because it was so crowded around Rockefeller Center that night, I could not see the stage. When I heard the singing, I couldn't tell the adult from the child. It all sounded beautiful! Great memory!
