Mardi Gras Cocktail Parties for residents set for July 10 and 12.

On Tuesday, July 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. The Village at St. Barnabas Mall, Gibsonia, will be transformed into “The Big Easy” as men and women celebrate retirement with a Mardi Gras-themed cocktail party. Residents, wearing beads and masks will enjoy Creole entertainment, libations, food and fun.

A second Mardi Gras cocktail party will be held Thursday, July 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Crystal Conservatories, Valencia for The Woodlands at St. Barnabas residents.

Activities planned for both parties include:

  • Specialty cocktails served by celebrity bartenders: Johnny Angel of Johnny Angel & The Halos and Rick Bergman of KDKA Radio
  • Mardi Gras parade complete with residents wearing purple, green and gold – the traditional Mardi Gras colors.
  • New Orleans-inspired hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks including spicy catfish bites, Cajun popcorn shrimp, Hurricanes, beignets and pecan pie.
