Sean & Sophia Fundraiser Sunday Aims to Raise Funds for Autistic Boy, Service Dog

Event planned for Misty Pines Dog Park.

A boy and his dog.

That could be the theme of a fundraiser planned for Sunday called the First Annual Sean & Sophia Dog Expo & Social. It aims to raise money to pay the cost of raising and training Sophia to be a service dog for 7-year-old Sean Forsyth of Wexford, who has a high-functioning form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome.

Humans and dogs are welcome -- everyone must be up to date on their shots.
