Pine-Richland Youth Center Offers Summer Camp

Fun activities and field trips are planned.

Have you made your plans for summer camp for the kids yet?

Pine-Richland Youth Center is registering kids now for its camp, which runs from June 13 to Aug. 26 at its facility on Community Center Drive in Gibsonia.

Camp will be “exciting days filled with games, sporting activities, crafts and field trips,” according to the center’s website.

“Every Friday we go on a different field trip and each week is themed to go along with the field trip,” according to Ryan Wirth, head camp counselor. An additional fee is charged for the field trips.

Parents have several options from which to choose when they register their children, ages 5 to 12.

Full-time camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for five days a week at a cost of $107 a week for members and $142 for non-members.

If you are looking for a part-time option of three days a week, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., that will cost $82 a week for members and $107 for non-members.

Before-camp and after-camp care are offered also for an additional fee.

“You must register your child by 8 p.m. the Thursday before your camp week as this enables us to plan staff accordingly,” the youth center’s website states.
