Patch Pets: Alex is Looking for Someone to Love

This little kitty needs a special home.

Alex is a short-haired 1-year-old brown Tabby who is friendly, yet shy, particularly around loud noises. He’s waiting for someone to adopt him from Animal Friends in Ohio Township.

This affectionate guy’s mother was dropped off at a vet’s office when she was pregnant. After she delivered, all of his siblings were taken home, but poor Alex was left behind. His previous caregiver speculates that no one chose him because of a skin condition that left him with patches of missing fur. To those at Animal Friends though, his strange appearance only adds to his charm.

Alex loves attention and other cats. He especially likes to be held and petted. Alex’s caregiver also said he was having trouble using his litter box. He’s doing just fine with his litter box at Animal Friends, so the staff would be glad to share tips to make sure Alex succeeds at your house too.
