Patch Pet: Poppy is a Friendly, Sweet Guy

Poppy is one of the most beloved residents at Animal Friends. The staff and volunteers go nuts for this friendly, sweet guy. But sadly, it seems that few people are in the market for an 11-year-old pit bull mix.

Staff and volunteers are sure that if you just took the time to meet Poppy, and gave him a chance, you'd fall in love with him too.

Poppy is friendly, social, and he really likes to kiss. Don’t let his age fool you; he’s quite active andloves a good walk.

And he’s smart! After you take him for a walk, he’ll turn back to give you a huge smile and wag his pink, happy tongue … his way of saying “thank you!”

If you’re looking for a pal who will appreciate your companionship and love, believe it: This is the dog for you. 

Poppy is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on shots.
