The township budgeted $900,000 for road improvements this year, the same amount as last year, said Township Manager Dean Bastianini. He recommended transferring $146,300 into the roads budget category to cover the extra cost.

Bastianini said he has been monitoring the township's income and believed the money could be transferred "without adversely affecting us."
