Komen for the Cure Appoints Pine Resident to Board

Stephanie Dutton will join the board of directors for the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

A Pine Township resident was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the 2013-2014 fiscal year.

Stephanie Dutton is COO and VP of Medical Oncology Services for the UPMC CancerCenter, a partner with the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.

Previously, she was the director of operations for the Kansas City Cancer Center and the University of Kansas Cancer Center in Overland Park, KS.

Dutton has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years and was a board member for the Greater Kansas City Medical Manager Association, the HealthSouth National Clinical Advisory Board, and the Amy Thompson Run To Daylight Board. She has also volunteered with the Missouri Special Olympics.

Dutton is a graduate of Missouri State University and a MPA from University of Missouri–Kansas City.
