Health Seminar to Teach About Hearing Loss

Audiologist Evelyn Wiest-Kerst will lead a discussion entitled "New Technologies for Hearing Loss."

Learn about the subtleties of hearing loss and new ways to treat the disease at a health seminar hosted by St. Barnabas Health Systems.

The event, lead by audiologist Evelyn Wiest-Kerst of Butler, is entitled "New Technologies for Hearing Loss," and takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Hilltop Hall at The Village at St. Barnabas.  

Wiest-Kerst will cover pertinent topics such as the different conditions of hearing, the new technology available for hearing loss, and wireless hearing aid options.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask any questions they have on the subject after the discussion.

The presentation is part of the St. Barnabas Medical Center's monthly Doc's Talk series, in which health care practitioners and experts share information with area residents.
