Got Milk? Isabel Muschweck Does

Gibsonia girl lands role in ad with Hines Ward.

When 9-year-old Isabel Muschweck went to an audition for a "got milk?" ad for the Super Bowl, she admits to being anxious.

“I was a little nervous because I was going to meet him and I was kind of afraid I wouldn’t remember my lines,” Isabel said, smiling shyly.

The “him” Isabel was referring to could leave even the hardiest Steelers football fan tongue-tied. It was none other than smiling Hines Ward.

Isabel overcame her jitters and was chosen to be photographed with Ward and three other children in a "Got Milk?" Super Bowl print ad.

A student at who has signed with The Talent Group of Pittsburgh, Isabel has been auditioning since she was a year old and goes on auditions about four times a month, said her mother, Susan Muschweck.

But to star in a "got milk?" print ad with Hines Ward was “the most fun,” Isabel said. “He was really nice and kind.”

A neat part of the experience was the man behind the making of those perfectly formed “milk” mustaches.

“Mr. Norman was like a scientist, mixing edible substances, such as yogurt, and it’s mixed just right to stay on the children’s faces like a mustache after they drink it,” Susan Muschweck said. “Isabel got it on the first try because she liked the taste, which he really loved.”

There is one catch to the "got milk?" Super Bowl ad. The television and print ads will air only IF the Steelers win the Super Bowl, and the television ad features only  Hines Ward. The same goes for the Green Bay Packers version of the "got milk ?" ad.

All the more reason to cheer for a Steelers win, said Isabel, who is taking the spotlight in stride. She hasn’t let it go to her head and is just happy with the autographed Steelers shirt Hines Ward gave her after the shoot.

“We make it a priority to make sure she stays grounded, although it can be hard for a kid not to get caught up in it,” Susan Muschweck said.

When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, Isabel would surprise no one if she said "actress." But Isabel confidently answers:

“Right now I want to be a teacher because it would be cool to see a lot of kids every day.”
