Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Pine-Richland School Board Meeting

What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Pine-Richland officials meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 10 at Pine-Richland High School for the school board’s planning meeting.

2. Pine Planning Commission

Learn what developments are in the works for the area when the Pine Township planning commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the Pine Community Center.

3. Movies in the Park

Attend a free showing of “The Little Rascals” at dusk, Wednesday, June 12 at Pine Park. Refreshments will be sold at the concession stand. An adult must accompany children age 12 and younger. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown the following Wednesday.

4. Fun Science at Northern Tier Library

Put on your lab coat and learn about science in a new and fun way. Fun Science will be held at the Northern Tier Library in Richland Township from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13.  A light snack will be provided.  This program is for kids 6-10 years.  Register by calling 724-449-2665.

5. Pine-Richland Graduation

Good luck Pine-Richland class of 2013! The district’s commencement ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at Pine-Richland stadium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Seniors are to report to the main gym for line-up at 6 p.m.
