Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Pine Board of Supervisors Meeting

Find out in person what’s going on in local government. Pine Township’s board of supervisors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 17 at the Pine Community Center on Pine Park Drive.

2. Richland Board of Supervisors Meeting

Learn more about what’s going on in the community as the Richland Township Board of Supervisors meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the municipal assembly room of the Richland Township Municipal Building, located at 4019 Dickey Road.

3. Movies in the Park

"Little Rascals" will be shown at dusk Wednesday, June 19 at Pine Community Park. If the weather is inclement, a make up day will be held the following Wednesday. For more details, call the Pine Community Center at 724-625-1636, Option 3.

4. “Godfather” Dinner Theatre at Kean Theatre

The audience participation comedic dinner theatre “Arrivederci, Al – Dinner with the Godfather” takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday June 22 in the Mount Vernon Restaurant, adjacent to the Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road.

Tickets cost $50 and include dinner. Tickets are available by calling 724-444-5326 or by visiting www.KeanTheatre.com.

5. Alton Brown at the Market District

Food Network star Alton Brown of “Good Eats” is coming to the Market District in Pine to discuss his successful career and his love of food at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 22. The event is free, but tickets are available are only available on a first come, first serve basis.
