Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Pine-Richland School Board Meeting

What’s going on in your child’s school? Find out in person when Pine-Richland officials meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 25 at Pine-Richland High School for the school board’s regular meeting.

2. Lacrosse Games to Honor Maria Ciarrocca

Join Pine-Richland boys and girls Lacrosse players for a HEADStrong Event Thursday, March 28 in honor of high school student Maria Ciarrocca, who was diagnosed with cancer in November.

The event will be held during the girls lacrosse junior varsity game at 6 p.m. and the varsity game at 6:30 p.m. There will be raffles, auctions and goodies at the concession stands. Participants will also be able to purchase Pine-Richland apparel.

Players will all wear special decals on helmets and special socks at the event. Proceeds benefit the HEADStrong Organization in honor of Maria.

3. Egg Hunt Celebration

Families are invited to celebrate Easter at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Northern Tier Library in Richland. The event includes sharing books, songs, crafts, and an Easter egg hunt.

4. Spring Break for Pine-Richland Students

Spring breaks takes place Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1 for Pine-Richland students. There also will be because of a teacher in-service day.

5. Easter Sunday
