8-Foot Polar Bear For Sale—But There's a Catch

An eight-foot-tall stuffed polar bear long displayed at the Woods Creek Grille in Jonestown in central Pennsylvania is up for sale.

But the bear has to stay in the Keystone State.

Endangered species laws make it illegal to transport the bear outside of state lines, according to a Harrisburg Patriot-News report.

A doctor shot the female bear 46 years ago on a hunting trip in Alaska. The bear was later sold at auction to the restaurateur who is now selling it. There's no word on the asking price.
