Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Reports Fundraising Success for Make-a-Wish Foundation in 2013

George Hackett, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services, is pleased to announce that Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services has raised approximately $100,000 for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation® of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2013.

Affiliated sales associates and staff hosted a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. During this five-year long relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, volunteers from Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services have invited neighbors and local community members to participate in fun events such as Bowling for Wishes, the Holiday Breakfast and the company-wide Golf Classic.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.

“We were able to have such great success in fundraising last year thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our affiliated sales associates, staff, friends and neighbors,” said Hackett. “It has been extremely gratifying to support the Make-a-Wish Foundation, as it works to improve the lives of local children, who are seriously ill, and their families.”

Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services will host the 2014 Golf Classic on Monday, May 5 at the Diamond Run Golf Club in Sewickley. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
