ACTION ALERT PENNSYLVANIA! HELLO BULLY NEEDS YOUR HELP! READ, CALL AND SHARE - TODAY!

HB82 is a very important bill for animals seized from alleged cruelty, neglect and animal fighting situations.

It's going up for a vote as early as Tuesday. We need your calls this week!

Here's the skinny on this bill.

HB82, the "Cost of Care Bill" will give shelters the ability to ask the court to make a decision on who gets custody of the animals within weeks of a seizure.

If the court agrees the animals need to remain in protective custody, the owner must put up a bond of $15 per day per animal or surrender the animal.

Additionally, if the defendant fails to post the bond, the animals are automatically surrendered to the shelter. This legislature could spare thousands of animals the agony of living in limbo, waiting years for appeals to decide their fate.

You can see the bill and it's sponsors here: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/billinfo/bill_history.cfm?syear=2013&sind=0&body=H&type=B&bn=82

Thank you for your support! Hello Bully is all of us and we can make this happen!

Lets hope this passes! It makes sense to force the people that abuse or neglect animals to have to make a choice, either pay for the care while they are challenging the seizure or give the animal up. Common sense.
