Winter Wonderland? Snow Showers to Continue, but Winter Storm Warning Expires
Winter storm warning to expire at 6 a.m. Thursday.
By the time most Pine-Richland residents get up Thursday morning, a winter wonderland will greet them and a winter storm warning will be over.
The National Weather Service's warning—set to expire at 6 a.m.—means travel is dangerous because of the heavy snowfall. A light glaze of ice is also possible because of freezing drizzle, the NWS warned.
Thursday could be a time for sled rides, building snowmen, snowball fights along with shoveling, snowblowing and salting. The weather service is calling for snow showers.
