Readers’ Choice Winner for Breakfast & Brunch: First Watch
Reader tells us that a great menu and fresh ingredients make this a great place to eat.
Folks in Pine-Richland don't mind traveling a bit for a good breakfast or brunch, and First Watch in Cranberry is where they head.
Congratulations go to this popular restaurant—it is the winner of this week's Readers' Choice Award.
When First Watch took an early lead, I asked readers what makes the restaurant so good.
Michelle Hall commented: "Great menu—fresh ingredients. And the kids love it! In Pine-Richland, the new Bartram House Bakery is great as well!"
Thanks, Michelle, for letting us know!
We stepped outside the Pine-Richland boundaries for our poll this week and collaborated with North Hills Patch and Cranberry Patch to include their breakfast/brunch selections.
In Cranberry, Freedom Square Diner was the runaway favorite. They (very wisely) posted a request on Facebook for diners to vote. First Watch came in second.
North Hills Patch was pulling in votes for Grazie Restaurant & Event Center in Wexford and North Park Lounge in McCandless, both of which are owned by Mark Baranowski. He recently opened Bonnie & Clyde's Restaurant in Pine Tree Shoppes in Wexford.
If you are in the market for any kind of meal in the Pine-Richland community, please check out the Food & Dining category in the Places section of Pine-Richland Patch.
Next week, we'll be taking nominations for our readers' choices for tax preparers.
