Quarterback Ben DiNucci’s 11-yard pass play to Kevin Rader scored Pine-Richland’s only touchdown Friday night against Central Catholic at the Wolverina.

With 2:18 left in the game, DiNucci’s run into the end zone for the 2-point conversion brought the final score to a 28-8 win for Central Catholic.

DiNucci had 72 yards passing and Connor Slomka rushed for 106 yards.

The Rams’ record fell to 1-4 in WPIAL Class AAAA Northern Eight Conference play and 2-4 overall.

Pine-Richland has two wins this season—against Fox Chapel (28-5) and Kiski Area (31-14).

The Rams lost to Seneca Valley (50-26), Butler (19-7), and North Allegheny (35-3).

Next week, Pine-Richland plays Shaler at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Titans’  homecoming.
