Four Pine-Richland High School students won video awards Tuesday at the 2012 Antelope Film Festival held at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers in Oakland. 

Students from schools across Allegheny County submitted videos in three categories—narrative, animation and documentary. The videos were judged by a professional filmmaker, a professor from Pittsburgh Filmmakers and a producer from the Fred Rogers' Company.

Pine-Richland senior Tristan Webster won first place in the animation category for his video called "Matryoska Mayhem". His video also won the best editing award recently in the annual Rammy video awards held at PRHS.

PRTV students Jeff Burgess and Davis Karran captured third in the narrative category for their video, "Jeff and Davis Save Christmas." In April, the video also won an Award of Excellence in the digital cinema category at the 19th Annual Television & Video Teachers Spring Student Video Festival held at Robert Morris University.

Selina Bitting placed third in the animation category for her video, "Something About Clay." It also won an Award of Excellence in the animation/graphics category at the festival at RMU.

The Antelope awards are presented by Avonworth High School and Pittsburgh Filmmakers.
