Pine Township Supervisors to Review Status of Three Developments

The Parks and Recreation Commission also plans to review its list of priorities at the board of supervisors' work session Tuesday night.

The Pine Township Board of Supervisors is scheduled to review issues pertaining to three developments with plans before the township planning commission at its work session Tuesday night.

On the agenda are three developments before the planning commission: the grading plan at Wexford Farms; the Emerald Fields planned residential development; and the sketch plan for the Springs at Wexford.

The board also plans to discuss authorizing a public hearing on the Emerald Fields development, according to the agenda.

The Parks and Recreation Commission also is expected to present its list of priorities for 2013 at the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Something sure doesn't smell right about the Wexford Farms dump site. It seems odd to me that the Township would allow this property to be Joseph B. Fay's private dump site for the last three years disguised under a three year “grading permit”.

Now, despite years of complaints and community opposition the Board appears to be pushing to allow this to continue in perpetuity.

Call me naïve but I guess I expect a Board of Supervisors to represent the interests of the Residents and the Community rather than a Contractor. We’ll probably never know the real story as the rulers of the community seem determined to ignore the residents, its planning commission, its code and the free falling public trust.

Wow, they get through that entire agenda in an hour and 20 minutes? Sounds like a lot of rubber stamping.
