Pine-Richland Scores Decisive 31-14 Homecoming Win Over Kiski

The Rams scored in second and fourth quarters.

 

An exuberant homecoming crowd celebrated Friday night as Pine-Richland decisively defeated Kiski 31-14.

Here's the scoring by quarter:

FIRST QUARTER:

Kiski is on the board first with a 19-yard TD play from QB Ricardo Carter to wide receiver Joe Brungo. Kicker adds the extra point

Kiski 7 Pine-Richland 0 at end of first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER:

Pine-Richland ties it 7-7 with a 46-yard run by Luke Merhaut. Extra-point kick by Ben Engel is good with 11:03 left in quarter.

Pine-Richland moves ahead 14-7 on a 7-yard TD run by Connor Slomka and an extra-point kick by Engel with 2:37 left in the half.

PR’s Nick Elms intercepts a Kiski pass and runs 66 yards for a TD. Engel’s kick makes the score 21-7 with 17 seconds left in the half.

HALFTIME: Pine-Richland 21 Kiski 7

THIRD QUARTER:

No one scores.

FOURTH QUARTER:

Kiski’s Tanner George scores on a pass play. Dom Bonelli’s kick was good to make the score Pine-Richland 21 Kiski 14.

The Rams extend their lead to 24-14 with a 42-yard field goal by Grant Goldberg with 3:08 left in the game.

With 56 seconds left, Slomka scores on a 15-yard run and Engel kicks the extra point, stretching the Rams' lead to 31-14.
