Interstate 79 was covered in snow, despite the snow plows' efforts to keep it clear.
Accidents were commonplace on Interstate 79 Wednesday as a winter storm covered the area in snow and sleet.
These photos were taken of the southbound lanes of I-79 near mile marker 62, about 2 miles north of the Route 60 exit.
The photographer is Christoper Cook, son of Patch Editor Richard Cook.
