Jackie Evancho Performs on 'Today' Show

Jackie Evancho, the 11-year-old international singing sensation from Richland Township, has a busy week planned as her "Dream With Me" CD is released Tuesday.

"At just 10 years old, Jackie Evancho stole the spotlight on 'America's Got Talent'  last summer," said "Today" show co-host Natalie Morales as she introduced Jackie on Monday morning's NBC show. "Now at 11 she's releasing her first full-length album, 'Dream With Me.'

"Jackie, good morning. You had an a phenomenal weekend because I hear it's already No. 1 on Amazon.com's best-seller list. You're beating out Lady Gaga and Adele. How does that feel?"

"It feels amazing," Jackie said with a big smile, then added, "and I kinda feel sad because I'm kicking them out of their spots."

That garnered a big laugh from Morales.

"I think they'll get over it because you are just such a natural and amazing."

Morales then asked about Jackie's summer tour.

Jackie said she is "very excited" about the tour that starts in August.

"I don't know much about it," Jackie said, "but if you guys want to learn more then you can just go to my website and find out."

She then performed "O Mio Babbino Caro" with the producer of her album, Grammy-award-winning David Foster, accompanying her on piano.

On Tuesday, the "Dream With Me" CD is released and Jackie is scheduled to perform on ABC's "The View" at 11 a.m. with Foster.

That is followed on Wednesday with Jackie performing a free, outdoor concert during her appearance on the "Fox & Friends" TV show in the Fox News Plaza at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in New York City. For fans back in Pine-Richland home neighborhoods, the concert can be viewed live on "Fox & Friends". The show airs from 6 to 9 a.m.

Friday -- Jackie is back on NBC's "Today" show, airing from 7 to 10 a.m.

The week following the CD's release has two Jackie appearances scheduled, according to the jackieevancho.com website:

Tuesday, June 21 -- NBC's "The Tonight Show" will feature Jackie. It airs at 11:35 p.m. For those keeping track of females with big voices from the Pine-Richland community, Christina Aguilera appears on "The Tonight Show" on Friday, June 24.

Friday, June 24 -- Jackie is on CBS's "The Talk," airing at 2 p.m.
