Football Preview: North Hills on the Road Against Pine-Richland

Pine-Richland trounced Shaler last week.

The North Hills Indians travel to Pine-Richland Friday to take on the Rams, who have struggled this season with just three wins and four losses.

The Indians, following a tough loss to the Seneca Valley Raiders, will look to bounce back against the Rams. Pine-Richland is coming off a big win over Shaler a week ago.

Ben DiNucci, the sophomore quarterback for Pine-Richland, will need to play a big role if the Rams are going to upset the Indians.

Pine-Richland will give the rushing load mainly to Connor Slomka, who has run for over 700 yards this season.

Brock Baranowski, the senior running back who recently returned to the team after an injury that sidelined him for five weeks, might also see some carries for the Rams.

The Indians will look to Josh Hulbert once again to perform the way he has the past five weeks. Hulbert, who has rushed for 482 yards since his memorable game against Shaler, will also be accompanied by senior running back/wide receiver Jordan Blackmon.

Blackmon, who is averaging almost 10 yards per carry this season, left last week's game late in the first half after scoring two touchdowns.

Tyler Reddick, who has been fighting injuries throughout the course of the year, comes into the game with 334 yards on the ground and is expected to suit up.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Pine Richland High School.
