Similar to the two other major shopping events, Cyber Monday differs in that consumers don’t have to leave the comfort of their own homes (or offices) to take advantage of some pretty big pre-holiday deals. All the bargains laid out for Cyber Monday are for online shoppers only.
So how can you find the best deals online this Cyber Monday? Here are just a few stores that are planning Cyber Monday deals, some of which are in effect all week:
- Kohl’s – This retailer is advertising Cyber Monday specials are in effect all week through Dec. 1. Free shipping and an extra 20 percent off everything online is in effect through Tuesday.
- Walmart – Cyber Monday kicks off Walmart Cyber Week 2012, according to the retailer's website. The store also invites consumers to check out its Facebook page.
- Target – This store’s sale lasts all week too, with free shipping for orders that total $50 or more.
- Amazon – "Cyber Monday Deals Week starts today (Sunday), and we're putting our best deals right here," Amazon's website states. Some Cyber Monday 2012 deals are in limited supply, but the retailer will keep adding new ones throughout the day, all week long.
