Bakerstown Road Bridge Inspection Set for Wednesday in Richland Township

PennDOT advises motorists to slow down and expect changing traffic patterns.

The bridge that carries Bakerstown Road over railroad tracks in Richland Township will be inspected Wednesday, weather permitting, and that could cause travel delays, PennDOT District 11 announced.

Single-lane alternating use traffic will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the bridge area between Valencia Road and State/Grubbs Road. Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Co. will perform the inspection.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down, and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. Visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
